Real life Self-Care

I made a list recently of my needs on a daily basis, so I can stop always putting myself last. If I add myself to my To-Do list then I’ll succeed. It really works!

My list includes:

  • 20 minutes of silence
  • 20 minutes of exercise
  • wearing clean clothes
  • being in a tidy environment
  • connecting with each member of my family for 20 minutes each day
  • drinking at least 2 quarts of water (can you tell we use mason jars as cups around here LOL)
  • eating enough protein
  • connecting with a friend or loved one
  • etc

Don’t forget yourself as you care for your families. You’re important too!
